Biological Annihilation.
Researchers world over have coined this term – ‘biological annihilation. It comprises a study which has shockingly revealed that billions of populations of animals . They have lost into oblivion, survived earlier in the world.
A ‘biological annihilation of wildlife in recent decades. It means a ‘sixth mass extinction’ in Earth’s history is under way. It is more severe than previously feared. According to research findings. Scientists analyses both common and rare species of animal world. These are found in billions of regional or local populations of flora and fauna. They have been lost forever.
Causing leading to Catastrophe
The scientists have blamed human over population and over utilisation of resources for this crisis. It,s evident that the natural balance of food chain had been destablished. It threatens the survival of human civilization, with just a short window of time. That, s left for the mankind to do some remedial action. The scientists community all over the world have synergistically. They joined hands and have taken a pledge to save the planet from extinction.

It has already progressed further than was thought. The rapid depletion of greenery and forests in planet. Due to reckless human greed and consumption of forest wealth. Nearly, half of the 177 mammal species surveyed lost. More than 80% of their distribution between 1900 and 2015.
Conclusion
United Nations and member nations do take steps to protect the forests and animal world. But, not enough. In the last one decade, the forest cover has decreased by 32%. An unacceptable degradation which may push our planet to choke out of fresh air. Due to pollution along with extinction of various life forms. The solution lies in change of mind set of the human beings.
Urbanization and greed for grabbing land for colonisation have ruined the planet. Strict punitive measures are required to be taken by affected countries. To protect these bounties supplied to us by the Creator.
